    Patupi Banana – Short Cycle Banana – Rare Banana from Papua New Guinea
     
    This is also known as “Kokopo”.
    Excellent flavor and texture with an incredible tropical aroma and orange flesh.

    A vigorous and fast growing plant that produces 30 lb bunches.

    Bloom to Harvest is 5 to 6 weeks, which is great for areas with a short growing season.

    It is relatively thin and lightweight which is desirable for members growing in pots.

    A 3 ft tall or taller Patupi planted in the Spring should produce fruit during the Summer.

    Time To Bloom – Approx: 5 to 7 month
    Bloom To Harvest – Approx: 5 to 6 weeks
    Plants are 4″-8″+ tall, planted in 2″ pots.
    Cultivated from a USDA Plant Bank Specimen.
